In the kind of non-creepy way, I like to watch people. I like to write about watching people. In one blog, I write about watching (reads stalking) boys that interest me and my co-author Kristen. Visit the Adorable Stalkers for that.
In this new blog, I write about watching people on the busses of San Francisco. These character sketches capture moments almost always forgotten while giving me the opportunity to practice writing. The process is simple. I write the post and hand it off to Linzi Bergmann who then interprets the character through her own style of illustration.
And there you have it. I hope you like it!

It started out as a joke, really – as most absurd things do. A fairly common theme in my life is around documenting the minutia of day-to-day behavior. (See My Documented Life) One day, I began noting how many times I encountered a handsome fellow who worked near my office. Later in the week, I shared this slightly faux paz “note-taking” to one of my friends who decided that she too, would document her encounters with men who struck her fancy.
And because, why not, we decided to start a blog – musing about our own experiences, encounters and yes, “stalkings” of those we like and want to know more about. And as the title suggests, it’s not so bad when you’re adorable.

May I Suggest is a fun little side project that I began after a long walk through a quiet, residential neighborhood in San Francisco. I noticed so many delightful, small details around me and decided to start documenting and writing about and these micro-experiences in fun, lightweight sort of way.
Now I make it a common practice, with the site as a tool, to observe my surroundings and capture these little bits of life that we often miss. The site is also here to remind you that those little things are still worth noticing and may I suggest that you too, you have a look.

When I first bought a MacBook Pro, I did the same thing sensible person would do – check out the features, play with settings, see what apps it came with out of the box, customize like crazy, etc., etc. The thing that I would always share with others was PhotoBooth. Friends, family, strangers – everybody loved the goofy and wildly entertaining images that the app would produce.
Because I’m so interested in photography, I decided to take PhotoBooth to another level, capturing images of myself in interesting lighting situations, backgrounds, holding objects and just using my imagination to create extraordinarily bizarre, but carefully crafted pictures using PhotoBooth alone.
